In the morning game against Yakima, the Gators won in a dramatic fashion in extra innings 10-9 for their first victory of the 2015 campaign. The win moved the Gators record to 1-6 for the season.

Janae Haslet pitched five innings in relief giving up two earned runs and striking out two. Eight Gators recorded a hit while four of them recorded multiple hits. Shortstop Ashley Starke went two for five in the leadoff spot, Alexis Chafton went three for five with an RBI, Janae Haslett went two for five with two runs scored, and Cherry Alejo went four for five with an RBI and two runs scored. Samantha Solomon drove in two runs in the top of the eighth fiving the Gators a 10-8 lead going into the bottom of the eighth and the Gators held on to win 10-9.

In game two, it was all Spokane as they defeated the Gators 11-1. Morgan Frost had the lone hit for the Gators as she went one for three and Samantha Solomon drove in the only run with a fielder's choice in the second inning.

The loss puts the Gators at 1-7 overall. They will host Shoreline on Tuesday for their home opener at Kent Service Fields in Kent, WA at 2 and 4 p.m.
