Green River alum brings 12th Man to Beijing train station
Matt Sikora proudly displays a 12th Man flag in a train station in Beijing, China.
Green River alum Matt Sikora had an opportunity to show his Seahawks colors during a recent business trip to China this past week.
Shown here proudly displaying a 12th Man flag in a train station in Beijing, China, Sikora left Green River in 1997 to transfer to UW's Engineering program, where he graduated in 1999 with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Sikora, son of Patty Sikora, Director of Purchasing at Green River, has worked at Auburn-based Seattle Safety since 1997, where he started out as an intern, eventually becoming a design engineer. Seattle Safety specializes in designing and producing crash simulation testing systems, which are used by major companies and testing labs all over the world.
Now in Sales, Sikora travels all over the worldIn this image from last week, he is shown having fun with the flag and the dozen deflated footballs (not deflated to the point the Patriots would probably prefer, but because they travel better that way), which he gives as gifts to clients.
Way to go, Matt! Thanks for keeping in touch!
