Cross-Country finishes second at North Region Championships

The Green River Men's Cross-Country team finished in second place at the 2014 Northwest Athletic Conference North West Region XC Championship.

As a team they scored 52 points and scored better than Highline, Olympic and Skagit Valley.

The Gators were led by Sophomore Manuel Cintron, who placed fourth overall with a time of 27:26.9. Sophomore Brian Reilly finished sixth overall with a time of 27:42.2. Other finishers for the Gators were Brenna Wallin (15th place), Edson Zalvadar (16th place), Jacob O'Connel (17th place), Alec Rhome (22nd place), Gabe Ferjeran (23rd place), John Davis (24th place), and Caleb Krafsky (34th place).

The Gator Cross-Country team will go to Lewisville Park in Battleground, Wash., on Nov. 8 to compete in the NWAC XC Championships.
