Striking changes on campus have occurred over the summer.
Building foundations and concrete masonry walls for the Student Life basketball court are nearly complete, and the contractor will begin installing structural steel within the next several weeks. The schedule calls for moving into the new facilities during July and August 2015, and to be fully operational by the start of fall quarter.
Two weeks ago, the Trades contractor erected 123 tilt-up concrete walls in just six days; a remarkable achievement. Structural steel is currently being erected and the goal is to have the building weather-tight by Dec. 1. The plan is to install furniture and equipment in July and August 2015, and be fully operational by the start of fall quarter.
Several smaller projects have also been in the works, including a new roof on the Lindbloom Center and new doors in Salish Hall. We will continue to update the campus as the year progresses. If you have any questions please email Sam Ball.
